#08 Musings and feelings and there lays me

A man spends all his life trying to control his environment, in which me most often succeeds, other times his efforts are met with failure, which is often reason for discomfort. Here I would like to quote a verse adapted by American Theologian Reinhold Niebuhr. " Lord Grant me the strength to accept the things I cannot change; the courage to change things I can and the wisdom to know the difference."

While reading it an advice given to me by a guest resonates in my head. He said "control things you can, leave the rest on god".  How true are both these when applied to practical life/

Too philosophical? I don't think so. At 22, I may not be on par with people of my age but certainly I have a lot of self worth, and yet time tests me again and again and this is where above lines come in the picture. Because just like you taking birth which happened naturally there are incidents waiting to happen to make it better again, just have the courage to do something and strength to take first step matters. "True power comes from ones heart ". Says a film. Every good thing and every grand journey has the crucial first step. The desire to do it.
Great people didn't become great by taking tests but because they wanted to.

Inspired, today I make a promise to myself. that I will never feel low.
